IT-Fix is a device intended for the fixing of structural and peripheral elements, such as handrails, metallic staircases, balconies, sun shields, screens added to the building facades equipped with exterior insulation.
A fixing system that removes thermal bridging, condensation and infiltration.
IT-Fix is currently the unique fixing system available on the market which eliminates thermal bridges. It allows fixing afterwards heavy metallic structures through the outer insulation layer.
Its device combines two innovative components:
. a spacer made of composite material and fiberglass,
. a threaded synthetic rod reinforced to the fiberglass

A range adapted to all outer insulation sizes from 4 in to 12 in (10 to 30 cm)
A high-energy efficiency with more than 90% reduction of the thermal bridges.
The main advantage of the IT-FIX fixing solution resides in its composition of synthetic insulator materials (a resin reinforced to the fiberglass). When being implemented, an injection of a high-performance expansive foam through the spacer reconstructs the insulating layer and ensures airtightness.
Other advantages of IT-Fix:
The elimination of the formation of condensation to the interior of the insulation layer (due to the absence of metal)
The reduction of the resonance phenomena when implanting the ventilation machineries fixed on the roof terraces.

It was awarded with the Alsace Region Innovation Trophy at this official event.
